BJ sees signs of second-half turnaround

Oilfield service company BJ Services, based on an increasing number of customer inquiries, says natural gas drilling in the US shoould pick up during the second half of 2003. "Thios is the first sign of positive input we've seen in a year or a year and a half," BJ Services CEO Bill Stewart told analysts during a Jan 21 confernece call on earnings results from BJ's fiscal year 2003 first quarter.
