ConocoPhillips is interested in helping tap vast natural gas reserves at the Shtokomanovskoye field in the VBarents Sea off northwest Russia for export to the US in the from of LNG, Alexander Ryazanov, deputy head of Russia's Gazprom, said Apr 28. A ConocoPhillips spokeswoman, without giving more detail, said the company has "had some discussions with Gazprom about LNG and is interested in LNG opportunities in Russia."
