Connecticut's MTBE ban delay bill goes to governor

Conecticut's House of Representatives late May 21 voted 138-5 to delay by three months the deadline to ban the oxygenate MTBE from the state's gasoline supply until Jan 1,2004, to correspond with the ban by neighbor New York. The Senate already passed the measure, which now awaits the governor's signature (ON 5/8).
