US legislators eye tax incentives, ANWR for energy bill

The US Senate Finance Committee Apr 2 approved us16-of energy tax incentives with little opposition. The bill will be combined with broad energy policy legislation being developed in the Senate. The House Resources Committee also Apr 2 aproved an energy bill that would open the Arctic National Willdife Refuge to oil and gas leasing and give incentives for oil and gas development on federal lands.
