Devon hints it may use FPSO at deep US Gulf projects

Houston-Big US independent Devon Energy said it could use a floating production,storage and offloading vessel to produce its first lower tertiary oil plays from the Gulf of Mexico,but added this probably wouldn't happen before 2008.Even so,the statement may be the first open hint of a company considering use of a FPSO in the Gulf.
