Evergreen sees Alaska CBM project by year-end

Coalbed methane producer Evergreen Resources in moving slowly on its Alaska CBM project to avoid making the kinds of mistakes it made in the UK, Evergreen CEO Mark Sexton said Apr 28. Still, Evergreen believes it can launch production by year-end as originally planned in Alaska's Matanuska-Susitna Valley north of Anchorage, Sexton told analysts in a conference call on first-quarter earnings.
