A breakthrough in the stalemate at the UN Security Council preventing Iraqi crude from being exported from the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan is still some distance away, Benon Seven, executive director of the UN's oil-for-food program, told reporters Apr 30. "I don't see this ending anytime soon," Sevan said, noting "there's nobody for me to negotiate with" to set up an oil pricing mechanism allowing exports to resume.
