Halliburton May 30 said it has agreed to settle a series of class action lawsuits against the company filed by share-holders involving long-term fixed-price construction projects. The energy services giant said it had signed a memorandum of understanding with plaintiffs' representatives that would settle some 20 shareholder class action securities cases that had been consolidated before a federal court in Dallas, Texas, as well as a shareholder derivative suit pending in the same federal court.
