OPEC ministers meeting in Vienna Mar 11 left official crude ouptut quotas unchanged for the time being but pledged to act swiftly to fill any supply shortage caused by a US-led war in Iraq. Ali Naimi, oil minister of OPEC kingpin Saudi Arabia, said Riyadh had already embarked on measures to raise its crude production to its full capacity of 10.5-mil b/d if needed.
