Natural gas prices boost PetroChina 2002 profits

State-run PetroChina Co Ltd Mar 31 posted a net profit of RMB-46.91-bil(us5.6-bil) for 2002, up 3.17% from 2001. China's stat oil giant attributed the increase of higher crudem, products and natural gas sales volumes, higher natural gas prices and higher profits from its refining segment.
