Tesoro says still planning to buy Valero refinery

New York-Tesoro CEO Bruce Smith said Friday the company plans to close its us1-bil sale of Valero's Golden Eagle refinery, despite his earlier comments about liquidity concerns. "We intend to close the acquisition on a basis that will insure adequate liquidity following the closing, even in a below average margin environment," said Smith in a statement.
