Kuwait Petroleum Corp again has approached prequalified international oil companies to participate in a project to develop its northern oil fields, senior Kuwaiti oil officials and executives said June 8. The controversial project once estimated at US7-bil was suspended two years ago so the country's elected parliament could become more actively involved in planning and posibly setting legislative groundwork.
