Senators vow to probe Enron case

Two US Senators said Jan 2 they would launch an investigation into the collapse of Enron. Sen. Joseph Lieberman (Democrat-Con-necticut) said the Governmental Affairs Committee, which he chairs, will hold a hearing Jan 24 on whether government agencies could have done more "to protect the thousands of people and business hurt by the largest bankruptcy in American history."
