High sulfur fuel oil markets in the US and Asia are in for a supply boost. Activity in the Rotterdam fuel oil brge market has soared in October, with cargoes fixed both east and west, sources said this week. More than 600,000/mt lots of barges were reported for the first two weeks of trading alone, while this week volumes have already surpassed 150,000/mt.
