Indications show that theglobal refined copper market recorded asmall production deficit of about 47,000 mt inDecember 2015, mainly due to strong Chineseapparent usage, according to preliminarydata released March 21 by the InternationalCopper Study Group.When making seasonal adjustments forworld refined production and usage,December showed a production deficit of163,000 mt, the Lisbon-based researchgroup said in a report.
