ICMM calls for stronger protection of World Heritage sites

The International Council on Miningand Metals has called on governments toincrease the protection given to World Heritagesites.Speaking at the Congress of theInternational Union for the Conservation ofNature, ICMM’s CEO, Tom Butler said: “Thecongress theme ‘Planet at the crossroads’stresses that business as usual is not anoption and ICMM agrees.”
