Rusal has no plans to restartsmelters it has dled since 2013, and iseven considering further cuts in aluminum production of about 200,000 mt/year, theRussian producer said on February 11.Rusal maintained aluminum productionat a low 3.6 million mt in 2015, flat from 2014.The company produced 878,000 mt ofaluminum between October and December last year, down 4.1% from the Septemberquarter’s 916,000 mt.
