South China’s GaluminiumGroup, which operates an 800,000 mt/yearsmelter grade alumina refinery in Guangdongprovince, has restarted production atthe plant this week, slightly ahead of thescheduled deadline of the beginning of April,a company source said on March 31.The refinery was completely shut downin December on weak market conditions andto conduct an overhaul.
