Large Chinese zinc producers see Jan-Aug output up 3.2%

A total of 45 major Chinese zincproducers, each with zinc smelting capacityof 5.98 million mt/year or more, produced anaggregate of 3.07 million mt of refined zincin in the first eight months of 2016, up 3.2%compared with January-August 2015, accordingto a survey by state-owned Chinesemetals consultancy Beijing Antaike releasedon September 8.
