Former Amaranth trader Brian Hunter testifies before FERC law judge

Two different stories emerged Wednesday as Amaranth Advisors' former top gas trader, Brian Hunter, testified for a second day before a FERC administrative law judge. Questioning Hunter about his actions on the settlement days for the March, April and May 2006 NYMEX gas futures contracts FERC says he manipulated, FERC lead attorney Todd Mullins got Hunter to acknowledge uncharacteristically large selling as the March and May contracts were within minutes of their close.
