摘要

Investigations were carried out to understand the effect of different intensities of frost damage on crop loss in tea. The results of the study showed that the total yield obtained in moderate and severe frost damage was significantly lower than thatof normal fields. The decrease in yield varied from 29 to 87 per cent. The number of days taken for recovery of bushes after frost damage varied from 35 to 111 days depending on the severity of frost damage.
