One day National level interactive meeting on 'Tea Shot Hole Borer and its mutualistic Fusarium sp.'

UPASI Tea Research foundation, Valparai in collaboration with ICAR-National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources (NBAIR), Bengaluru organized a one day national level interactive meeting on Tea shot hole borer and its mutualistic Fusarium, at Valparai on 19th April 2016.Dr. B. Radhakrishnan, Director, UPASI TRF welcomed the delegates and gave the introductory remarks of the meeting. This was followed by inaugural address by Dr. B. Chandramouli, Advisor, UPASI Core Committee. Dr. Abraham Varghese, Director, ICAR-NBAIR, Bengaluru, Karnataka released the technical folder and the first copy was received by Mr. M.K.J. Mahesh Nair, Sr. Assoc. Vice President, Parry Agro Industries Ltd. In his special address, Dr. Abraham Varghese explained the recent trends of scientific approach in agricultural field. The booklet on "Bioecology and control of shot hole borer of tea" prepared by UPASI, TRF was released by Dr. B. Chandramouli and the first copy was received by Mr. Ambalatharasu, Sr. Manager, TATA Coffee Ltd.
