Poncho/VOTiVO and two rates of fluopyram-treated seed (ILeVO) were evaluated for the control of root-knot nematodes (RKN) on soybean. The trial was conducted in a commercial field near Pine Bluff, AR. The soybean cultivar Stine 47RC32 was planted on 26 May at a seeding rate of 150,000 seed/A in a Roxanna silt loam soil previously cropped in soybean. All seed treatments had a base fungicide treatment of EverGol Energy. Weed control was based on recommendations by University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. Plots consisted of four, 25-ft-long rows spaced 30-in apart. The experimental design was a RCBD with four replications separated by at 5-ft fallow alley. Plant stand was evaluated 30 June as total plants per 25-ft of row. Root-knot nematode infection and reproduction was based on percent root-gall rating and egg counts, respectively. Five roots were randomly collected on 10 July from the outer two rows of each plot. Roots were washed free of soil and root galling was determined based onpercent galling per root system. Eggs were collected from a 5 g subsample with a 20% bleach solution and enumerated with a stereoscope. The center two rows of each plot were harvested on 9 October using a K Gleaner combine equipped with a Master Scales Weigh System. Data was subjected to ANOVA using Agricultural Research Manager Software (Version 9.0).
