Solvay Bario e Derivati celebrates its first 20 production years of the Blanc Fixe in Italy

In 1994 the Barium/Strontium Division of the Solvay Group took the decision to move the production of barium sulfate precipitate (Blanc Fix) from Germany to the plant of Massa Solvay Bario e Derivati. This decision was the result of a production re-arrangement between different manufacturing units for barium salts, caused by the increasingly stronger competition from Chinese manufacturers.
