摘要

This book is aimed at practising physiotherapists, educators, and students; the impetus for writing the book stems from dramatic changes in the practice of pain management, including the role of physiotherapy. The editor highlights that, historically, education about pain in physiotherapy has been limited, and therefore this text is designed to 'fill a gap in the education of physical therapists by supporting a more comprehensive education in the management of pain'. In addition, the book encourages an evidence-based approach in the treatment of pain.
