PRODUCT STEWARDSHIP AWARD 2011

Last 19th December, within the Responsible Care Programme, in the International Chemistry Year, S.A.P.I.C.I received the "Product Stewardship" prize for the category of larger enterprises. This important award from Federchimica aims at awarding those companies which do their best starting from their consolidated technologies, to improve the responsible management of their production throughout the whole chain offering novelties with a positive impact on the end users markets in terms of quality, higher safety and less environmental impact. When in 2004 the second manufacturing unit was built, Sapici's objective was the development of the most advanced technologies to start a plant meeting its own needs, manufacturing completely free monomer products. So, exactly with Polurgreen 0.1 the first target was reached, that is the offer of products which not only give labelling benefits, but which have also showed to be more stable and more successful than the standard products, thus meeting larger and larger market segments' requirements.
