UNIQUE RANGE OF POLYMERIC DISPERSANTS FROM HYDRA POLYMERS FOR LOW VISCOSITY FROMULATIONS

Hydra Polymers Ltd. has developed a unique range of novel polymeric dispersants using their proprietary branched polymer technology. Pigment dispersions using these materials can show up to 50% viscosity reduction in the mill-base when compared to current dispersant technologies. The branched polymeric dispersants have unique architectures giving rise to improved adsorption onto the pigment surface. The higher density of anchoring groups fixes the dispersant onto the pigment surface giving rise to high stability.
