Suitable to produce fine powders, with narrow and exact granulometry, and to allow an easy access for cleaning operations, Cimma Ing. Morandotti SpA PPS mills are designed for the fine or finest grinding of many materials of medium hardness and abrasiveness, such as chemical products and powder coatings with hourly capacities from 50 up to 2000 Kgs. These mills have a high speed vertical axis rotor on which many vertical pins or hammers of suitable shape are fixed. Grinding action is provided by impact a-gainst a smooth or toothed lining and by friction between layers of the processed material.The product is pneumatically discharged upwards, through an air classifier. The special design, with coaxial shafts of rotor and classifier mounted on suitable bearings, provides a compact construction and an easy installation.
