Agora Tire Inc. recently announced the addition of a spot market price index for over-the-road (OTR) tires to www.agoratire.com. The Houston-based company took its cue from other industries such as metals and plastic resin that have made commodity pricing available as a benchmark for fair pricing. "We simply felt compelfed to provide this knowledge to the end-users in the industry in the midst of all the chaos in the market," said Brad Harris, president of Agora Tire.
