NSSGA convention draws 800

Nearly 800 industry professionals, including Pit & Quarry staff members, recently met in San Francisco for the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association's (NSSGA's) annual convention. The event consisted of division and committee meetings, informational sessions and networking opportunities. Keynote speakers included U.S. Secretary of Transportation Mary Peters and nationally syndicated columnist and television personality George Will. Peters said transportation lies at the core of the freedom Americans enjoy: the freedom to travel, the freedom to work and live where they choose and the freedom to spend time with their loved ones.
