Software in the study of rock paintings of churches in Cappadocia

A team of history detectives is working in a remote area of Turkey where St. George is said to have slain a dragon, uncovering secrets from centuries past as to how artisans created beautifully adorned murals on the walls of caves carved from stone by hand. The color of murals depicting the lives of the holy personages is one of the primary clues that researchers from University of Tuscia-Viterbo, Italy are using to unlock the secrets of how the caves in Cappadocia were painted.
