Rheological Additives for 2 pack-High-Solid-Coatings

摘要

Organic rheological additives based on fatty acid amides are highly efficient powders which are easily activated and remain stable in a wide temperature range. New products are required in 2-pack-epoxy-coatings for heavy duty corrosion protection applications. There is a demand of high tolerances in medium and higher polar solvent/binder-mixtures and stability at elevated processing temperatures. The use of modern rheological measuring techniques such as oscillatory tests and shear-jump-experiments allows to quantify the efficiency of new rheological additives.
