The Powder Coating Industry offers several advantages when compared to traditional liquid paint systems. These include environmental, economic and quality of finish advantages. The range of effects allowed by powder coatings include those that incorporate metallic effects, such as metallic effects created by use of aluminum pigments. However to date the industry has not created a metallic effect in a powder coating system that truly replicates the visual appearance of traditional chrome plating.
