Oglehay Norton appoints Lundin to lead Great Lakes Minerals

Oglebay Norton Co. announced that effective August 1,2001, Michael D. Lundin becomes president of Oglebay Norton Great Lakes Minerals segment. Lundin has served as president of Michigan Limestone Operations Inc. (MLO) since it was acquired by Oglebay Norton in April 2000. Prior to that time, he was an investor and president of Michigan Limestone Operations L.P.Lundin will now be responsible for the integration of the entire Great Lakes operations from quarry to customer. He will continue to report directly to Oglebay Norton Chairman, President and CEO John N. Lauer.
