Komatsu American Corp. has made a number of senior-level management changes following the recent retirement of Chairman Arlie G. Tucker.David W. Grzelak has been appointed chairman and CEO of Komatsu Mining Systems Inc., replacing Edson R. McCord, who was named general manager of the Komatsu USA Development Center. James E. Boyle, president of Komatsu Financial L.P., succeeds Grzelak as chairman and CEO of Komatsu America Intl. Co. Boyle's replacement is Michael A. Fraser.Tucker began his career in 1964 with LeTourneau Westinghouse in Peoria, Ill., and has remained with the company through several acquisitions while holding a variety of positions with increased responsibility. In 1992, Tucker was named chairman and CEO of Komatsu American International. In 1997, he was appointed chairman and CEO of Komatsu and two years later was named chairman of Komatsu America Corp. Tucker will remain a director of Komatsu Ltd.
