Utilizing the latest advancements in silt-recovery systems, the Finlay Siltmaster range of dewatering and silt-control products can completely remove silt from waste water - down to 300 parts per million (0.03 percent) - and eliminate the use of settling ponds, says the company. This permits the use of a totally closed loop system where the waste water goes from the last discharge part of the existing system, through the Finlay Siltmaster, and then directly back to the washing screen for reuse. The Siltmaster is designed to handle up to 1,500 gpm of water flow, with silt recovery of up to 25 tph.
