On-off intermittency and large deviation statistical mechanics

摘要

Statistical characteristics of the on-off intermittency are discussed from the viewpoint of thermodynamics formalism and the generalized time correlation function by using a stochastic model. The transient chaos below the on-off intermittency is investigated by observing the persistence time distribution. Critical behavior of the characteristic persistence time near the transition point of on-off intermittency is briefly discussed.
