Transco Plans Mid-South Expansion

Williams' Transco pipeline held an open season from July 16 to Aug. 19 for an expansion project designed to provide increased capacity on its Transco natural gas pipeline system to serve markets in the southeastern United States. Williams' proposed Mid-South expansion project will offer shippers the opportunity to subscribe to incremental year-round firm transportation service on Transco's mainline from its Station 85 pool in Choctaw County, AL to delivery points as far north as Transco's interconnec-tion with Cardinal Pipeline Company in Rockingham County, NC.
