BG Egypt has begun gas production from the second stage of West Delta Deep Marine (WDDM) Concession Phase-7 off Egypt.

The second stage of Phase-7 comprises onshore gas receiving facilities, five new compressors and a new power plant. The latest WDDM development phase is designed to help maintain plateau gas production and access incremental reserves with new compression facilities as offshore reservoir pressure drop in the long term.
