Repairing mechanically-damaged pipelines

摘要

When properly designed and installed, composite repair systems have the ability to restore the pressure integrity to pipelines having either mechanical damage or plain dents. Previous and on-going research programs have generated performance data on nine different composite repair systems. The goal here is to address the use of composite materials in repairing pipes having eimer mechanical damage involving dents and gouges or plain dents.
