How to conciliate Popper with Cartesius Comment on: 'Consciousness in the universe. A review of the 'Orch OR' theory' by S. Hameroff and R. Penrose

Hameroff and Penrose review evidence that coherent quantum processes evolve in defined biological structures terminating according to a specific scheme of objective reduction of the quantum state [1]. Both the specific scheme of objective reduction of the quantum state and the biological implications of these processes were proposed since several years by Hameroff and Penrose [2], and under the name ofDiósi-Penrose theory [3]. How progress in physics, cosmology, quantum biology and neurosciences fits with these proposals?
