This second and final installment of the report on the Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine 2011 Conference follows on from Part 1, published in the January 2012 (volume 13, issue 2) issue of Pharmacogenomics, which covered conference sessions on personalized medicines, public health pharmacogenetics and next-generation sequencing. In this second part, sessions on serious adverse reactions, cancer pharmacogenomics and the interface of common diseases and pharmacogenetics will be discussed.
