Influence of nitrogen fertilizers on vegetative and productive behaviour of table grape in dry and hot environment.

Investigations were conducted during 1999-2000 in the Bari province, Italy, in 2 tendon-shape vineyards using mineral and organic nitrogen fertilizers. The organic nitrogen was produced from scleroproteins with compact molecules and proteins with short structure deriving from hydrolysis of natural substances of protein origin. Mineralization of such forms of organic nitrogen requires 3-6 months. The results demonstrated positive response of grape to organic nitrogen. Data are tabulated on characteristics of fertilizers, temperature, rain and RH, grape weight, yield and quality.
