World EXPO 2005: Aichi, Japan

EXPO 2005 was an international event in four parts in Aichi, Japan (a province between Tokyo and Kyoto), held from May to August 2005; the fourth part of this was under the heading: "Let's Sing to the Earth's Song!" It included pavilions from Korea, Sri Lanka, China, and Bhutan, and three pavilions by the government of Japan. These last exhibits were especially aimed at environmentally sound measures. For example, one of the goals was to ward off the summer heat to a comfortable environment.
