Research on traditional village development under tourism urbanization-taking Yongshun xiangxi tujia and miao minority autonomous prefecture as an example

In the areas where the tourism has become the leading industry and driving force of urbanization, the traditional village is not only valuable tourism resources, but also an important factor for urban space layout. Solving the problems of development of traditional villages is of great significance for achieving the sustainable development of the region. Taking Yongshun County as an example, it analyzed the problems encountered by traditional villages in the background of tourism urbanization, figured out the reasons why it can not adopt the past way of separate exploitation or protection. Instead from the strategy point of view of regional development, it proposed balance between regional urbanization planning requirements and traditional villages’ natural endowment conditions. The selection model of traditional village development type is established, methods of determining the development type and implementation suggestions are described.
