Abstract： Objective To investigate the effect of ginger moxibustion plus ear acupoint press on the treatment of nursing students with primary dysmenorrhea. Methods Selfcontrol method was used, the acupoints of qihai, guanyuan and sanyinjiao and four acupoints of uterus were cauterized by the ginger moxibustion combined with ear acupoint press in genital, endocrine and cortex. Treatment was continued for 3 menstrual cycles, and the changes in the degree of pain before and after treatment were observed. Results Ginger moxibustion moxibustion plus ear acupoint press was able to alleviate the degree of pain. Conclusion Ginger moxibustion plus ear acupoint press can effectively treat nursing students with primary dysmenorrhea.
