Japan: Surge in demand for Vietnamese shoes

Because of the gloomy situation in the EU, Japan is becoming a key market for Vietnamese leather footwear. In the first 11 months of 2012, footwear worth $299 million was exported to Japan, a year-on-year increase of 35%.
