Taiwan: Firm backs seven-acre footwear factory

Taiwanese company An Shen is to invest in a $40 million leather shoe factory in Vietnam, which, on completion in 2016, is expected to employ 9,000 workers. The production facility is a joint venture between Vietnam's Tien Hung Company and An Shen and could employ 3,000 workers for the build during 2014.
