Discussion on application of beishu points to treatment of visceral diseases

摘要

The vegetative nervous system plays an important role in keeping homeostasis of organ- ism and regulating visceral function. Vegetative nerve functional disturbance is related with clinical many diseases. Through the experience that Beishu points in treatment of visceral diseases are effective clinically, the author attempts to probe into mechanisms of production and development of visceral dis- eases caused by effects of relative somatic factors on visceral vegetative nerves from view points of mod- ern physiology, pathology and anatomy.
