US first for Tacoma city

The city of Tacoma, south of Seattle, in Washington State, has become the first in the US to install new high-tech speed signs. Dorman Varitext North America, set up to translate some of its more innovative products from its UK portfolio onto the North American marketplace, recently secured its first project for 14 Vehicle Activated Traffic Calming Signs (VATCS).
